Accessibility
Our commitment:
Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are continually working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website. “Accessible” or “accessibility” as used in this Website Accessibility Statement, means that a person with a disability is afforded the opportunity to acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same services as a person without a disability in an equally effective and equally integrated manner, with substantially equivalent ease of use.
How we support accessibility:
EVMS continues to review the EVMS.edu website, the myPortal intranet site and other online content for accessibility and bring it up to the same level of accessibility as dictated by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
Conformance status:
EVMS strives to conform to WCAG 2.0, Level AA.
